Jose is a recruitment executive with more than 9 years of executive and general recruitment experience. Prior to joining GHSC, he worked for another hospitality recruitment firm for four years, where he signed clients in Canada, USA, Mexico, South America, and other regions of the world. He worked with hotels, casinos, all-inclusive resorts, and culinary teaching institutes, such as the prestigious Cordon Bleu School in Ottawa and in Peru. He recruited for management, director, and corporate roles, both in property and company headquarters.
In 2019, he was a recruitment consultant in multiple industries, mostly across Ontario and Quebec, in the private and public sectors, including education, manufacturing and corporate.
Jose speaks English, Spanish, French and Italian and he is also a certified tennis and pickleball instructor. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from James Madison University in Virginia, United States. Before migrating to Canada, he worked in the hospitality industry for almost 10 years for hotel brands like Hilton Hotels, JW Marriott Hotels as well as working for Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, in the cruise ship industry.
