Spas — We have successfully recruited luxury spa personnel for many four- and five-star hotels and resorts. To maintain high prestige and occupancy levels, a great resort or hotel spa is as essential to guest satisfaction as fine cuisine or a luxurious room.
Types of Positions Available:
Spa Directors
A Spa Director at a top-quality resort or hotel will oversee many areas, such as staffing, training, product purchasing, merchandising, setting up a strong retail outlet, budgeting and forecasting. He or she may be asked to help market the spa, be knowledgeable about Internet advertising, and have Public Relations contacts. Spa Directors are often asked to help design new or additional spa areas and see the project through to opening. General Managers now work more closely than ever with their Spa Directors and often make them a part of the Executive Committee team.
Types of Spas We Work With:
Destination Spa
These spas offer overnight accommodations and programs that include exercise and nutrition classes, body treatments, mind-enrichment and stress-reduction activities, and feature spa cuisine.
Destination Resort Spa
These full-service spas are part of an overall menu of attractions. Destination resort spas are like “dessert” after a day of touring Wine Country or taking in the sights and shows in Las Vegas, for example.
Hotel/Resort with Spa
City hotels and/or resorts have found that adding a spa to their list of guest amenities greatly enhances their attractiveness and brings a big increase in rooms booked.
Health & Wellness Spa/ Medical Spa
These spas are often vacation destinations themselves for those who want to learn about living a healthier lifestyle and have a “life-changing experience” at a safe, reputable spa staffed with highly regarded professionals. The focus here is on changing lifestyle, diet, and exercise regimens. A Wellness or Medical spa may also offer cosmetic surgery with excellent, skilled after-care in a luxury spa environment.
