Specializing in Recruitment for Spas

A Hotel or Resort Spa is no longer just an amenity offered to guests.  A great spa is as essential to guest satisfaction as fine cuisine or a luxurious room for today’s discriminating traveler. Spas are a source of pride and valued revenue for the best hotels and resorts worldwide. A property’s reputation is always enhanced by the excellence of its spa. To maintain high prestige and occupancy levels, resorts and hotels know how critical it is to staff their spas with top-quality personnel and often turn to us for help finding the best Spa Directors.

Global Hospitality has developed a high level of expertise in the spa sector of hospitality over the years. We specialize in successfully recruiting luxury spa personnel for many four- and five-star hotels and resorts. Our attendance at spa conventions, our networking outreach with spa industry insiders, and the large number of top spa professionals in our candidate database ensures that you will find the answers and the personnel you are looking for at Global Hospitality.

Our hospitality recruiters have recently completed a number of spa searches for well-known luxury resorts and hotels and have the resources and expertise to help you find highly qualified spa personnel when you need them. For more information, or to inquire about conducting an executive search for a key member of your spa management team, please contact us and a spa recruiter will be happy to assist you.

Types of Positions Available:

Spa Directors

A Spa Director at a top-quality resort or hotel will oversee many areas, such as staffing, training, product purchasing, merchandising, setting up a strong retail outlet, budgeting and forecasting. He or she may be asked to help market the spa, be knowledgeable about Internet advertising, and have Public Relations’ contacts. Spa Directors are often asked to help design new or additional spa areas and see the project through to opening. General Managers now work more closely than ever with their Spa Director and often make them a part of the Executive Committee team.

Types of Spas We Work With:

Destination Spa

These spas offer overnight accommodations and programs that include exercise and nutrition classes, body treatments, mind-enrichment and stress-reduction activities, and feature spa cuisine.

Destination Resort Spa

These full-service spas are part of an overall menu of attractions. Destination resort spas are like “dessert” after a day of touring Wine Country or taking in the sights and shows in Las Vegas, for example.

Hotel/Resort with Spa

City hotels and/or resorts have found that adding a spa to their list of guest amenities greatly enhances their attractiveness and brings a big increase in rooms booked.

Health & Wellness Spa/ Medical Spa

This is an increasingly popular choice for many today. More and more of us want to learn all we can about living a healthier lifestyle and are looking for safe and reputable spas and centers staffed with highly regarded professionals. These spas are often a vacation destination in themselves for those who want a “life-changing experience.”

The focus here is on changing lifestyle, diet, and exercise regimens. A Wellness or Medical spa may also offer cosmetic surgery with excellent, skilled after-care in a luxury spa environment.
